NATHANIEL FOWLER

Marriage Certificate: The occupation of NATHANIEL was 'Butcher'. Both NATHANIAL and ELIZABETH signed the Marriage Certificate with an 'x'. ELIZABETH was from the parish of Eastington. NATHANIAL and ELIZABETH were aged 21 years and upwards. To be married in the Parish of Stroud.

Death Certificate: NATHANIEL was 79 when he died, and lived in Henley, St Leonard. He was buried on the 24th of November. He was a Yeoman, and William Fletcher (labourer) was in attendance.

Occupation: Farmer/butcher: Brockley Orchard and Church Farm.

Inscription from St Cyrs Cemetery, Stonehouse: "Nathaniel Fowler, 'Yeoman', of Leonard Stanley, 18 August 1838, 80 years old. Betty, wife, 25 November 1843, aged 85 years".

ELIZABETH OSBORNE

Death Certificate: ELIZABETH was 82 when she died, a widow and lived in Leonard Henley. She was buried on 30th of November. THOMAS FOWLER was in attendance.
